How do you use Instagram Reels?
Instagram Reels can be found next to the Instagram Stories button. To see it, tap the camera icon located in the top left corner of your Instagram screen.
Continue to swipe down on the menu at the bottom of the screen until you reach Instagram Reels. You’ll see the available features on the left-hand side of Instagram Reels once you go it.
All you need to do to start recording your video is click the camera button. You will also see a progress bar at the top when you are shooting your video. The progress bar displays how much time you have until you reach the 15-second limit. You will need to click the camera icon again to stop recording your video.
After you have finished recording your clip, you will be able to access various editing tools. The ‘Align” feature will also be visible. This feature is helpful if you want to combine multiple video clips into one video. The Align feature allows you to transition between two clips to create cohesive content seamlessly.
If your video clip is less than 15 seconds, you can add additional videos to your clip to make a longer video of 15 seconds. After you have finished your first video, click on the camera icon to add another video. As long as your final video is no longer than 15 seconds, you can add as many clips as possible.
After your 15-second video is complete, you can hit the “Next” button to continue editing. Instagram will direct you to Instagram Reels’ editing tools if you exceed the 15-second time limit for your video.
Click on the “Upload” button to upload your videos to Instagram Reels
You can trim, align, add music, and apply filters to your videos using the editing tools. After you are done, you can publish the video. You have two options:
- Save your video as a draft.
- Could you share it on Instagram Story?
- Please post it on the newsfeed.
Instagram Explore also shows content uploaded to Instagram Reels by public accounts.
